About II Tone Def

The DJs behind II Tone Def met in the 7th grade hallway when they both got kicked out of their respective classrooms. They became fast friends and shared a love of music that has spanned decades. DJ Chedda spent his childhood dominating talent shows, appearing in televised dance groups, and DJing locally. DJ Nyne started slaying the guitar in rock bands by the age of 12 and got his first set of turntables at 18. In 2009, Chedda and Nyne decided to team up and combine their musical knowledge and backgrounds to launch the DJ duo II Tone Def.

For nearly 15 years, II Tone Def has performed to crowds across the southeast, from South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and beyond. The duo plays the club scene, bars, corporate events, festivals, and private parties. DJ Chedda and DJ Nyne are masters at creating remixes and mashups for artists and their own live sets. They foster a deep background in nearly every genre of music and specialize in a high-energy ‘open format’ DJ style.

II Tone Def is in demand for their ability to read the room and cater to anything that moves the crowd with their inspired collaborations. Their goal is to provide an unforgettable experience while their clients grow their club, bar, or create a high-energy vibe for a private event.
